Essiac Tea Brewing Instructions
IMPORTANT: Use only stainless steel or glass utensils when preparing this tea. Pregnant women consult your physician.
TO MAKE 1 GALLON:
Measure 1 gallon of fresh spring or distilled water and 16 level tablespoons (4 oz.) of the Essiac Tea.
TO MAKE 1 QUART:
Measure 1 quart of spring or distilled water and 4 level tablespoons (1 oz.) of the Essiac Tea.
Recipe for Essiac Tea Mixture
Bring water to a boil, stir in tea and cover.
Simmer for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and stir.
Cover and refrigerate for 12 hours
Stir, cover, and bring back to boil and simmer for 10 minutes. Remove from heat.
Strain through a fine mesh strainer & funnel liquid into clean amber glass bottles and cap.
Tighten cap after cooling. Refrigerate.
This mixture will stay fresh for 2 to 3 weeks if refrigerated.
Instructions to dilute mixture for use
Shake herbal tea mixture well.
Add 2 oz.’s of the prepared Essiac Tea to 2 oz.’s of boiling fresh spring or distilled water.
Drink 2 to 4 oz.’s daily on an empty stomach. Optimal benefits are shown with 3 oz.’s per day divided into 2 dosages.
