Kitchen Witchen - A Guide to Kitchen Medicines

  • Desert Sage Herbs 1728 N Alma School Rd Chandler United States (map)

Presented by:
Natalija M. Kyle - Clinical Herbalist, Holistic Healthcare Practitioner

  • Also offered LIVE STREAMED with access to the recording for 7 days.**

This is a super fun and wonderfully empowering class! We will go over the many items you already have in your pantry that can be used as potent medicines & health boosting tonics. Historically, there was a kitchen herbalist in every home using ginger for a stomach ache or garlic for sickness. Everyday spices you cook with and common pantry foods can be made into great tonics for a boost of daily support or acute health issues. We will learn:

  • A list of common spices to have on hand, what they are used for, when to replace them and how to store them for a long shelf life.

  • Different foods ( like onions, garlic, beets, lime/lemons, peppers, horseradish, raw honey...) that are used for various ailments and overall good health.

  • Several fun recipes to experiment with as well as sample.

  • And try one of my favorite overall wellbeing tonics that comes straight from the kitchen… Chai!! Come learn why I think so.

We are offering a LIVESTREAM option for this class for those who cannot attend in person. This will be broadcast over Zoom at the time of the class. Link and handout will be sent out before the class for those who sign up for the live stream option. A recording of the class will be available for 7 days. *Note: Livestream participants will not qualify for in-class raffles or other in-class offerings.
